Head of FRWO Arrive in Helsinki- Finland

Khalil Aghaei Deputy Minister and Head of the Forest, Range and Watershed Management Organization (FRWO) arrived in Helsinki, Finland on Tuesday, September 20 in a high ranking delegation headed by Mahmoud Hojjati, Minister of Jahad-e-Agriculture of Islamic Republic of Iran at the invitation of Finnish minister of Agriculture and Forestry to further bilateral cooperation in agriculture sector between the two countries.

The official delegation comprises of around ten persons and includes two vice ministers and a member of parliament, accompanied by a business delegation.

During the visit two memoranda of understanding including a comprehensive agricultural cooperation plan and plant protection protocol will be signed by the ministers.

The activation of the MoU on Forestry Cooperation - signed in 2015 - for development of trade relations including the modernization of the forest- related industries and the provision of raw materials are among the issues on the agenda of the head of FRWO.  He is also scheduled to visit forest- related Finnish centers and institutions.
