4th International Congress on Planted Forests (ICPF) held in China
The 4th International Congress on Planted Forests opened in Beijing on October 23, 2018. This is the first time ICPF is held in Asia, and it is also the first time for China to hold such a big academic conference on planted forest.
The 4th International Congress on Planted Forests opened in Beijing on October 23, 2018. This is the first time ICPF is held in Asia, and it is also the first time for China to hold such a big academic conference on planted forest. With the theme of “Planted Forest--A solution for Green Development”, topics of the Congress include the sustainability of planted forests in the context of changing climates, the future role of planted forests in bio-resources sustainability, environmental protection and green development.

The Congress is co-hosted by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), National Forestry and Grassland Administration (NFGA) and International Union on Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO).
