Allocations for IWM Budget to Provinces Would be Based on their Level of Participation

Khalil Aghaee, Deputy Minister and Head of Forests, Range and Watershed Management Organization (FRWO) in the 24^th session of coordination committee of IWM implementation on Saturday stated that people should be involved in the planning, implementation and monitoring of IWM projects, based on the priorities set out through feasibility studies.

He added that the budget needed for IWM projects is provided from national development fund that should be precisely managed based on executive plans.

Aghaee emphasized that the priority for the allocation of budget for IWM projects rest with provinces that offer a more precise work plan, management scheme and more public participation.
