Conservation of Natural Resources Knows No Time

Khalil Aghaee, Deputy Minister and Head of Forests, Range and Watershed Management Organization (FRWO) in the 24th session of Coordination Committee for IWM Implementation on Saturday said that the responsibility of Forest Guard in protecting forests and rangelands is very important, and this is not something that could be carried out within administrative frameworks because protection, enclosure, and patrol operations knows no time.

He also emphasized the need for brainstorming and synergy and said that conservation of natural resource jargon should be transformed to social values and culture and all stakeholders should contribute to the realization of it in any occasions.

Khalil Aghaee reiterated that we have to take any opportunity for informing people and propagating natural resources values and vital ecosystem services.

Head of FRWO also added that pests and diseases of trees and plant species are as important as forest fires for us and we should in no way delay the activities under the pretext of credit shortage.

Aghayee said: our measures in natural resources should be substantive in essence, so that if there was no credit for next year, we could preserve the sustainability in our projects.

Deputy Minister concluded that all works has no real value witeout, the satisfaction of Almighty and the people.
