Conservation of Natural Resources is not Possible without Public Participation

According to FRWO’s website, Mahmoud Hojjati in a conference with MPs and Governor Generals of Zagros provinces, on Joint Action Plan for Development of Natural Resources and Watersheds in Zagros Region, said conservation of natural resources is not possible without public participation.

Minister of Agriculture Jahad praised the good work in the field of watershed management and plantation in Ilam province and said that the reason for holding this conference in Ilam is to show the achievements and make arrangement for its replication as a model in other parts of the country.

Minister of Agriculture Jahad referring to the success gained in Ilam province in the development of dry forestry in the dry parts of the province, said that we have to understand nature and adapt ourselves with it and use its high potential capacities.
