Heroic and Ritual Sports Federation to Participate in Tree-Planting Movement

The Head of Iranian Heroic and Ritual Sports Federation announced the readiness of the federation to take part in Tree-Planting Movement.  

According to FRWO’s website, Mojataba Johari the Head of Iranian Heroic and Ritual Sports Federation in a meeting with Dr. Khosrow Shahbazi, Acting Head of FRWO which was held at FRWO Headquarters on Sunday expressed readiness to participate in Tree-Planting Movement for Greener Homeland throughout the country.

He added that both sports and the environment are interconnected in a sense that they boost health of human being and the society.

He noted that the Iranian Heroic and Ritual Sports Federation is the sponsor of cypress tree as a tall and evergreen species that is shown in sport dresses of athletes in form of paisley designs from ancient times

In this meeting, Khosrow Shahbazi, Acting Head of FRWO, expressed his satisfaction for the meeting with the Head of Iranian Heroic and Ritual Sports Federation and said: “It is a great pleasure for me that all social classes in Iran, especially athletes, participate in TPI Movement and this doubles the responsibility of FRWO in the field of natural resources development”.

Shahbazi described Iran's natural resources vast and rich and reiterated that sustainable development of natural resources can only be achieved through public participation.
