The 21st Session of Sustainable Management of Hyrcanian Forest Committee was Held in FRWO

According to FRWO’s website, the 21st  session of Sustainable Management of Hyrcanian Forest  committee presided over by Dr. Khosrow Shahbazi Acting Head of FRWO, was held with the agenda of review of progress made in implementation of conservation plan on Saturday afternoon at FRWO Headquarters.
In this meeting, Dr. Shahbazi Acting Head of FRWO said the rescue of Buxus might be addressed from different angles. Success stories should be collected and replicated as new scenarios. Along with replication of Success stories, the application of modern technology and machineries must be introduced to enhance the quality and quantity of our programs. He concluded that the documentation of activities at field level before and after implementation phase is of great importance in our future assessments. He also reiterated that natural resource conservation does not hinder development activities whatsoever. Therefore the conservation of natural resources must go hand in hand with development of infrastructures.
