Implementation of 4.4 Million Hectares of IWM Projects in the 11th and 12th Cabinets

Acting Head of FRWO announced that 4.4 hectares of lands have undergone IWM projects since 2013.

According to FRWO’s website, Dr. Khosrow Shahbazi Acting Head of FRWO said that 3.2 million hectares of operations belong to 2013 - 2018 and the remaining 1.2 million hectares belong to 2019.

In another part of his remarks, He pointed to the production of 170 million seedlings during the two Rohani’s Cabinets and said that desertification control and stabilization of the sand dunes has been carried out in 207,000 hectares since 2013.

Dr. Shahbazi announced that 214,000 hectares of forestry operations have been carried out throughout the country in the form of plantation, reforestation and enrichment activities in the 11^th and 12^th cabinets in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
