Inauguration of Four National Agricultural Projects in Sistan & Baluchestan Province

President Hassan Rouhani inaugurated some 806 projects in agriculture sector including 4 natural resources and watershed projects in Sistan & Baluchestan province. 

According to FRWO's website, in this video conference ceremony, some 4 natural resource projects, including a water spreading project in 14,000 hectares in Goharkuh site with a reservoir capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters were inaugurated with a cost of 1940 billion Rls.

The President emphasized, "It was one of my promises I made at the beginning of the government to the people to revive the productivity of, and I am glad to announce that the operation in 32,000 hectares of Sistan plain that was started in 2014 is completed and I hope that the remaining part of the project will be operational by the end of the year ".

Dr. Rouhani thanked the Supreme Leader for agreeing to withdraw from the National Development Fund for the implementation of water and soil projects in the country.

Dr. Khavazi, the Minister of Agriculture Jahad at the inauguration ceremony of the ministry's national projects said: "In this ceremony, some 806 projects are inaugurated in the subsectors of water and soil, watershed management and desertification control, with an earmarked budget of 2640 billion RLs."
