Head of FRWO Hailed the National Day of Communication and Public Relations

The first virtual meeting of public relations of Natural Resources and Watershed Management Departments (NRWDs) was held at FRWO Headquarters to observe the National Day of Communication and Public Relations.

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Mansour opened the first virtual meeting of public relations of Natural Resources and Watershed Management Departments (NRWDs) at FRWO Headquarters. 

In the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Mansour congratulated the Day to the audience, especially the Public Relations and International Affairs Bureau (PRIAB) of FRWO and Natural Resources and Watershed Management Departments (NRWDs) in the provinces. In this connection, he praised the performance of FRWO in confidence building, boosting organizational legitimacy and removing ambiguities."

Dr. Massoud Mansour stressed the need to further introduce FRWO and natural resources management to the public opinion as much as possible and reiterated: "Natural resources, despite of its vital role in providing ecosystem goods and services, including aquifers' recharge, preventing, dust storms control and reduction of flood damages, etc, do not have their deserving place in the minds of the society." 

He stressed the role of public relations vital in clarifying the achievements of FRWO and showing the effectiveness of programs at field level.
