June 10th marks the beginning of the Jahad Agriculture Week in Iran and coincides with the anniversary of the establishment of Agriculture Jahad Ministry by the historic decree of Imam Khomeini (RA) on 16 June.
The Week is observed this year with the theme of "Agriculture Production and Food security" that provides a good opportunity to review the achievements of the Ministry in attaining self-reliance and independence of agriculture sector.
