Suspects Arrested over Recent Arsons in Forests
The Chief of Law Enforcement Police of the Islamic Republic of Iran (NAJA) Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari has announced that a number of suspects linked with the recent arsons in forests and green spaces have been arrested in different parts of the country.

According to FRWO's website quoted from ISNA, Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari in the sidelines of the maneuver and exercises held Sunday morning to improve the capacity and operational mobility of NAJA in University of Law Enforcement Sciences, reiterated that the establishment of electronic police service system has led to a 85 percent reduction in direct workload of the NAJA. 

Asked by reporters about a recent wave of suspicious fires in various parts of Iran, Police Commander Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari said on Sunday that the law enforcement and other organizations in charge have taken action to handle the issue, he said that good measures have been taken in this regard and noted: "Some of the fires had started unintentionally but a number of others ignited deliberately, and in this connection a number of individuals have been identified and arrested."

It is worth noting that over the past week, several wildfires had also broken out in forests and rangelands, as well as blazes in some parks in Tehran. A series of mysterious blazes and wildfires in the past couple of weeks across Iran have raised concerns among the authorities and citizens.
