Head of FRWO meet and confer with Members of the Parliament

A number of Members of Parliament (MPs) met and conferred separately with Dr. Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO about regional issues of their constituencies.

According to FRWO’s website, MP of Ardabil, Nir and Namin constituency from Ardebil province, MP of Nahavand constituency from Hamadan province, and MP of Chalous, Nowshahr and Kelardasht constituency from Mazandaran province met with Head of FRWO and discussed their regional issues in separate meetings.

Members of the Parliament also stressed the need to conserve natural resources, especially forests and rangelands and called for immediate resolving land disputes by full implementation of cadastral survey and demarcation of public forest lands from private lands.

In these meetings, Dr. Mansour said the completion of cadastre mapping as a priority plan of FRWO in 2020 aims to solve disputes over public lands.

Deputy Minister stressed that implementation of "the 9 in 99 Initiative" in FRWO concurrent with the theme "Leap in Production in 2020" proclaimed by the Supreme Leader  has given an accelerated momentum to the activities in FRWO ".

Mansour concluded that "the 9 in 99 Initiative" includes nine priority plans in the field of natural resources management, that is a practical response of FRWO to the theme proclaimed the Supreme Leader in 2020.
