FRWO and Justice Ministry to Intensify Legal Collaborations to Safeguard Natural Resources

Head of FRWO met and conferred on Tuesday with Minister of Justice to facilitate legal procedures for enacting new bills proposed by FRWO in a fight against arsonists in forests and rangelands.

According to FRWO’s website, in this meeting, Dr. Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO elaborated some legal issues arising from mandates and responsibilities of FRWO and called for more judicial and legal collaborations to remove obstacles in line with safeguarding Anfal as public assets.

In this meeting, Minister of Justice also stressed the importance of safeguarding natural resources and said: "Working in the field of natural resources management is devotion in the path of the Almighty."

Sayyed Alireza Avaei, giving some examples on the importance and preservation of natural resources from religion point of view, said: "Working in natural resources is a spiritual and divine work, and if we pay attention to religious teachings, our views and attitudes will change accordingly."
