Head of FRWO Met and Confer with Mazandaran Governor General

Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jahad and Head of Forests, Range and Watershed Management Organization (FRWO) met on Wednesday with Ahmad Hossein-Zadegan, Governor General of Mazandaran province and managers of Mazandaran Wood and Paper Industries to review current situation  and developments of the company, and collaboration modality in preventing forest fires, development of timber farming and medicinal herbs cultivation in the region.

According to FRWO's website, quoted from Mazandaran Governorate Information Centre, Massoud Mansour,said on the sidelines of the meeting, referring to the importance of the joint meeting with the Governor General of Mazandaran: "I am delighted to pay a visit to Mazandaran province at the invitation of Governor-General  to resolve some critical issues with regard to the production of wood and paper."

He noted that the meeting explored the ways and means of preserving the invaluable forest resources, and provided concrete proposals in the field of fire prevention measures and reviewed the strategy of FRWO in timber farming and medicinal herbs development in the northern forests.
