FRWO and ECAO to Consolidate Cooperation on Natural Resources Management
Heads of FRWO and the Endowments and Charity Affairs Organization (ECAO) in a joint working group meeting examined ways and means of removing barriers to the consolidation of natural resource ownership and endowments management.

Heads of FRWO and the Endowments and Charity Affairs Organization (ECAO) in a joint working group meeting examined ways and means of removing barriers to the consolidation of natural resource ownership and endowments management.

According to FRWO website, Mr. Mehdi Khamoshi  Head of Endowments and Charity Affairs Organization (ECAO) said in this meeting on Monday "The issue of natural resources preservation should be taken seriously in our society, and the protection of Anfal as public asset is a common area of work of both ECAO and FRWO."

Hojjatoleslam Khamoushi, added that ECAO is fully prepared to end many pending cases in the courts through increased bilateral interactions with FRWO, and reiterated: "Development of timber farming is a priority area at home today and ECAO stand ready to offer all its capacities in developing timber farming in endowed and national lands with the support of FRWO".

In this meeting, Head of FRWO also emphasized the need to resolve problems between the two agencies on pending lawsuits in courts through a joint working group and called for the transfer of more than 5,000 hectares of Hyrcanian forests in Aq Mashhad, Sari to FRWO."

Dr. Mansour further referred to some of the cooperation areas between FRWO and ECAO that have prevented the filing of thousands of cases in the courts.

He in another part of his remarks with reference to the suggestion of Head of ECAO for joint cooperation expressed FRWO's readiness for the development of timber farming and cultivation of medicinal herbs, and said: "FRWO can provide free saplings as well as technical services for timber farming development."
