The third session of the Soil Steering Committee (SSC) was held at FRWO Headquarters on Monday to formulate a strategic plan for soil management.
According to FRWO's website, the draft executive directive for Soil Conservation Law, which was reviewed and approved by SSC in June last year, was served for implementation by the President.
The Soil Conservation Law had stipulated that the Ministry of Agriculture Jahad (MAJ), in cooperation with the Department of Environment (DoE), prepare the executive directive of the law and submit it to the Cabinet for approval.
