FRWO Emphasizes the Implementation of Logging Ban Initiative in Hyrcanian Forests

Head of FRWO emphasized the implementation of the Logging Ban Initiative (LBI) in Hyrcanian Forests and said that lockdown of logging operation by no means imply the lockdown of sustainable forest managment. 

He reiterated that technical measures in forest areas and is an integral part of FRWO's programmes in conserving forest resources. 

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Masoud Mansour who attended a live program in The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) noted that the responsibility of FRWO in natural resources management is very crucial and said: "FRWO has the duty to protect natural resources and has intensified conservation measures in natural resources especially in Hyrcanian forests".
