Inauguration of IWM and Flood Control Project in Ramsar

IWM and flood control project in Ramsar- Mazandaran was inaugurated with attendance of Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO on Thursday.

According to FRWO's website, in this ceremony, Dr. Masoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO emphasized the effectiveness of IWM projects in reducing flash floods, and reiterated: "IWM has various positive functions. It controls soil erosion and helps the flood prevention, and reduces any future damages in the critical and high-risk areas of flood-prone provinces."
