Head of FRWO was Appointed as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the International Centre for IWM and Bio-Resources

Kazem Khavazi, Minister of Agriculture Jahad in a decree on Sunday, November 29 appointed Masoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO as the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the International Centre for the Integrated Management of Watershed (IWM) and Bio-Resources in Arid and Semi-Arid Regions in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to FRWO's website, over recent years, FRWO followed up the signing an agreement for the establishment of an International Centre for the Integrated Management of Watershed (IWM) and Bio-Resources in Arid and Semi-Arid Regions in the Islamic Republic of Iran between the Ministry of Agriculture Jahad (MAJ) and UNESCO. In such manner, the final steps were taken this year and the agreement was signed and exchanged between MAJ and UNESCO in September 2020.
