FRWO and HFIR Join Forces to Save Soil in Sistan & Baluchistan

On the eve of World Soil Day, a joint meeting was held between Head of FRWO and Head of the Housing Foundation of Islamic Revolution (HFIR) to save villages involved in landslide and gully erosion risk in the flood-stricken areas of Dashtiari, in Chabahar- Sistan & Baluchistan province.

According to FRWO’s website, Masoud Mansour, Head of FRWO in a virtual meeting on Tuesday said that a budget of 7000 to 10,000 billion RLs is needed to save the farmlands and villages in the flood-stricken areas of Dashtiari, in Chabahar.

In this meeting, he reiterated that FRWO has allocated a large budget to tackle the challenges of the gully erosion in Dashtiari, but that alone will not be enough for success to be guaranteed. Therefore, allocating the budget by Housing Foundation of Islamic Revolution (HFIR) is expected to contribute the successful implementation of a development plan.
