Inauguration of Three IWM Projects in Markazi Province

During a ceremony attended by Head of FRWO, an IWM project was put into operation in Shazand city - Markazi Province, and the executive operations of two other projects started.

According to FRWO's website, during a one-day visit to Markazi province, Dr. Massoud Mansour stated that "preservation of water and soil resources and vegetation cover are the three priorities of FRWO" and said: "IWM operations were carried out in 1.2 million hectares in Markazi province."

On the sidelines of the trip to Shazand, Dr. Mansour told reporters: "Water and soil resources and vegetation cover are among the most valuable resources of any country and one of the main FRWO's missions is to preserve these resources."

In another part of his remarks, he reiterated that water, soil and vegetation cover are essential resources and the vital parts of the natural environment in the world that their living depends on each other.
