Stress the Completion of the Cadastre Mapping

Minister of Agriculture Jahad in a letter addressed to the President wrote that it is the duty of the Government to protect the public assets and Anfal, and every effort is made to protect the natural resources. He noted that FRWO will not spare any action about natural resources management.

According to FRWO’s website, in this letter, Minister of Agriculture Jahad stressed the completion of the cadastre mapping as the best way to manage natural resources effectively. He emphasized the expediting the issuance of title deeds for public estates and finalizing in earnest, and reiterated that FRWO in collaboration with the Real Estate, Deeds and Properties Registration Department (REDPRD) is implementing the cadastral-mapping of national lands.

He noted that cadastre mapping has been completed in 40 million hectares of public lands in 2020 and it is anticipated that about 70 million hectares of public lands will be mapped as the remaining part of the project by the end of the year.
