FRWO Protects Trees

Head of FRWO said that cutting down the trees has important implications for almost every aspect of human life on Earth, and FRWO is responsible to protect all trees, and FRWO is responsible to protect all trees.

According to FRWO’s website, Dr. Masoud Mansour, at a specialized meeting on natural resources and watershed management held at FRWO Headquarters on Monday noted: "Successful models in natural resources management should be used by Natural Resources and Watershed Management Departments (NRWDs) and these experiences should be shared with all stakeholders".

Recalling the heavy responsibility of management of about 135 million hectares of country's natural resources by FRWO, he reiterated: "However, the effects of protecting vegetation cover and soil and water resources is effective on all infrastructures and biological security of the country.”

According to this report, in this meeting, a few stakeholders from Ilam, Gilan, Khorasan Razavi, Zanjan, Kermanshah, South Khorasan and Yazd provinces, presented their reports on their experiences including methods of implementation of natural resource projects.
