Natural Resources Week; a Good Opportunity to Promote the Culture of Arboriculture and Land Protection

Head of FRWO stated that Natural Resources Week is a good opportunity to promote the culture of arboriculture and land protection, and FRWO should introduce a programme of actions, and functions of organizational structure planning of natural resources management to the people and public opinion in the best possible way.

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Masoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO in a video conference with the Director Generals of Natural Resources and Watershed Management Departments (NRWDs) on Natural Resources Week on Thursday said: "Natural Resources Week is observed this year from 5-11 March 2021 in Tehran and all over Iran. The week is inaugurated with a special festival in accordance with the calendar, and various programs with the participation of people and various organizations have been planned to be held in the week. Anyway, it is hoped that by holding these programs in a coordinated and coherent manner, a worthy action will be taken to raises awareness of the people and promote the culture of arboriculture and land protection appropriately and also introduce FRWO’s programme of actions and projects across the country."

He reiterated: "Despite the problems with the current outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease and the credit constraints, FRWO is one of the organisations that has carried out its duties in natural resources management, according to the announcement of comments".
