Timber Traffickers Change Smuggling Methods Due to the Intensification of Conservation Measures

Head of FRWO said that timber traffickers have changed smuggling methods due to the intensification of conservation measures by FRWO.

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO during a trip to Gilan province on Wednesday visited the forest management plan in Shaft city and noted: "Caspian Hyrcanian forests are among the most valuable ecosystems on Earth and FRWO has the duty to protect natural resources and has intensified conservation measures in natural resources especially in Hyrcanian forests. Therefore, FRWO does its best for the preservation of this valuable asset".
