MPs Meet and Confer with Head of FRWO

Members of Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Natural Resources met and conferred with Dr. Mansour about natural resources issues.

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Masoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO in a meeting with the members of Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Natural Resources held at FRWO’s Headquarters on Sunday on the occasion of Natural Resources and Watershed Management Week, presented a report on the issues of natural resources.

In this meeting, Mansour said: "In this year, which has been named the "Year of Leap in Production" by Supreme Leader, FRWO's programmes within the “9 in 99 initiative”, have been developed pursuant to the theme “Leap in Production” and the policies announced by the Supreme Leader in 2020".

He noted: "Nine initiatives includes development of electronic government, development of wood farming and exploitation of by-products in forests and rangelands, national land cadastre mapping, demarcation of forest reserves boundaries, rangeland management, medicinal herbs production, forest parks management, development and strengthening of the natural resources development fund (NRDF) ".

Based on the report, the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly also shared their views on the country’s natural resources management.
