Completion of the Cadastre Mapping Within the Next Six Months

Minister of Agriculture Jahad said that cadastre mapping has been completed in 40 million hectares of public lands in 2020, equivalent to 4 times last year, and it is anticipated that about 70 million hectares of public lands will be mapped as the remaining part of the project within the next six months.

According to FRWO's website quoted from IRIB News Agency, Dr. Kazem Khavazi accompanied by Dr. Masoud Mansour attended the meeting of the Supreme Council for the Protection of Public Assets, which was chaired by the Head of the Judiciary in Damavand on Tuesday, reiterated:

Since part of farmers’ financial constraints is due to lack of ownership documents, we presented a resolution to the government that if approved, more than 10 million hectares of documents will be handed out to farmers so that they can invest in the agricultural sector.

He reiterated that FRWO had targeted 30,000 hectares plantation in the form of wood farming this year, of which some 21,000 hectares was implemented during 11 months."
